You are invited to join us for A Solemn Assembly, April 8th, 2024

On March 9th of this year,  our worship leader, Karen LeBlanc,  had a very sobering and prophetic dream which left her filled with a sense of urgency to do something.  Among other things the  words "purify and Sanctify" stood out, which she pondered for a time.  Finally she submitted both the dream and her understanding to a group for weighing and testing.  Together we felt to call a Solemn Assembly and that it was fitting to be held  on April 8th, 2024 the day of the Solar Eclipse.

Solemn  assemblies  are  held for  the  purpose  of  spiritual  renewal.  It is a  formal assembly of  the Ekklesia with the intent of  turning more fully to God’s grace offered to us in Christ through:
  • Repentance and confession
  • Laying ourselves bare before God in prayer
  • Listening  for  the Spirit’s  still  small  voice  through  scripture and  teaching
  • Worship
  • Communion

Although predictions, prophecies and revelations abound regarding the upcoming solar eclipse,  we feel  an urgency to welcome a move of Holy Spirit to purify, sanctify, cleanse our lips, and call us to personal repentance and forgiveness.  In other words, Going deeper....more than ever now is the time for the Bride to make herself ready.

With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Genesis 1:14-18

And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.  God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.  God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Psalm 19:1- 5

The heavens declare the glory of God;  the skies proclaim the work of his hands.  Day after day they pour forth speech;  night after night they reveal knowledge.  They have no speech, they use no words;  no sound is heard from them.  Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,  their words to the ends of the world.  In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.  It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,  like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

Isaiah 145: 1 - 5

I will exalt you, my God the King;  I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise You  and extol Your name for ever and ever.  Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;  His greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends Your works to another;  they tell of Your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of Your majesty—and I will meditate on Your wonderful works.

Praise God! This is so timely. I agree whole heartedly that this is what our Heavenly Father is requiring of us at this time. Thank you Karen for being obedient to what you were hearing from Holy Spirit. I will definitely be there.
